CPA Division Controller

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Division Controller for the Schools Business Unit, this full-time remote position will manage full accounting operations for a portfolio of music and dance schools, leading system and process transformations while ensuring compliance and financial accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Own accurate and timely monthly and year-end closes across schools, with full P&L and balance sheet accountability
• Design and implement internal controls, manage audit preparation, and standardize policies across the Schools Division
• Lead onboarding of newly acquired schools into accounting systems and drive system migrations and process re-engineering projects

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years in a controller or senior leadership role
• Demonstrated experience managing accounting across multi-entity, multi-state environments
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and revenue recognition, particularly related to tuition and program fees
• Advanced experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems, including system implementation or migration leadership
