CPA Eligible Accountant II

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accountant II to support the financial accounting close and ensure compliance with internal policies and GAAP.

Key Responsibilities

• Track and analyze the Prepaid Expense function and ensure proper recognition timing
• Manage the AP accrual process for unbilled expenses on a monthly basis
• Perform monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and maintain internal control documentation

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting experience in a fast-paced GL close cycle
• CPA or CPA eligible track
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables; experience with NetSuite and Concur is a plus
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles, practices, and internal controls
