CPA Eligible Assistant Controller

Job Summary

Leading a team of accountants, the full-time remote CPA Eligible Assistant Controller will manage property financial statements, ensure compliance with accounting principles, and communicate financial performance to clients.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the accounting team and ensure timely delivery of financial statements
• Communicate regularly with clients regarding financial performance and address accounting inquiries
• Coordinate with operational teams to prepare and approve financial budgets for properties

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA Eligible or CPA Preferred
• Previous experience in third-party multi-family property management
• Experience leading or managing a team of accountants
• Strong understanding of financial concepts and excellent analytical skills
