CPA Eligible Staff Accountant

Job Summary

To support a rapidly-maturing accounting team, the remote CPA Eligible Staff Accountant will ensure the accuracy of the monthly close process, assist with payroll and general ledger tasks, and partner with internal teams to optimize financial workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy of the monthly close process and support timely reporting
• Partner closely with internal business partners to develop creative solutions for business challenges through process optimization
• Assist in payroll processing and reconcile related journal entries in the general ledger

Required qualifications

• A degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent
• 1-3 years of experience in GAAP or Tax accounting
• Public accounting or SaaS experience required
• Experience with modern tools like Workday, Sage Intacct, or Netsuite
• CPA or CPA eligible preferred
