CPA Financial Analyst

Job Summary

To support the U.S. Department of Justice's complex litigation mission, the full-time remote Financial Analyst will perform financial analyses, review cost data, and assess operating and project reports under the direction of senior auditing staff.

Key responsibilities:

• Reviews and analyzes financial records of institutions to identify areas for further analysis
• Performs evaluations of financial statements and project reports
• Provides initial assessments and recommendations for senior auditing staff review

Required qualifications:

• Must be a CPA
• Minimum of two years' experience in financial analysis and evaluation
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Public Trust clearance
• Graduate degree in finance, business administration, accounting, or a related field
• Thorough knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and auditing standards
