CPA Financial Controller

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Financial Controller.

Key Responsibilities

• Own all elements of month/quarter/year end close, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and expense approvals
• Proactively seek opportunities to improve processes and technologies to enable business scaling
• Lead engagements with external auditors and manage short-term cash and treasury requirements

Required Qualifications

• Very strong accounting fundamentals and knowledge of GAAP
• CPA designation is mandatory
• Minimum 12 months in a financial operations/accounting/controllership role at startup or scale-up companies is preferred
• Experience or familiarity with SaaS businesses is a plus
• Demonstrates pride and ownership in the quality of work
