Job Summary

Seeking a full-time CPA Financial Controller to manage the monthly close process, ensure financial integrity, and lead audit preparation in a remote environment for a growing US-based company.

Key responsibilities

• Own the monthly close process and ensure timely, accurate financial statements
• Lead preparation for annual audits and manage relationships with external auditors and tax advisors
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure financial accuracy and implement process improvements

Required qualifications

• Active CPA required
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including Controller or Assistant Controller roles
• Deep technical accounting expertise and strong knowledge of US GAAP
• Proven experience owning the close process and managing audits
• Experience with modern accounting systems; Xero experience is a plus
