CPA Financial Controller

Job Summary

To support a growing finance department, the full-time salaried CPA Financial Controller will own the integrity of financial reporting, modernize accounting systems to meet US GAAP standards, and lead a transformation towards an AI-native operating model in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close, ensuring accurate and timely consolidated financials
• Re-architect the accounting function from first principles, implementing a modern, AI-native ERP and enhancing internal controls
• Lead and develop the accounting team, fostering a build-first culture and driving continuous improvement

Required qualifications

• CPA or equivalent international qualification (e.g., ACCA, CA)
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including roles as a Controller or Assistant Controller
• Experience with multi-entity consolidations, multi-currency environments, and deep technical accounting expertise in relevant ASC standards
• Hands-on experience with ERP implementation and a proven track record in finance transformation
• A genuine AI-native mindset with experience in automating finance workflows
