CPA Financial Reporting Analyst
Job Summary
To support financial reporting processes, the full-time salaried CPA Financial Reporting Analyst will assist in preparing financial statements, internal reports, and ad-hoc analyses while working remotely or onsite in La Jolla, CA or Edina, MN.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare monthly and quarterly journal entries related to various financial activities
- Assist in the preparation of the company's financial reporting package and SEC financial statements
- Participate in internal reporting to executive management by analyzing actual financial information against expectations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- 1-3 years of experience in public accounting, private company financial reporting, or insurance company financial reporting
- CPA or CPA eligible/in-process
- Deep understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles
- Experience with SEC reporting and/or tools like Active Disclosure is preferred
