CPA Financial Reporting Director

Job Summary

Serving as an authoritative accounting expert, the full-time Financial Reporting Director will ensure the accuracy and integrity of all external and internal financial reporting functions, manage external audits, oversee tax compliance, and lead consolidated month-end close reporting in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage external audit engagements and ensure timely completion of financial audits
• Oversee tax compliance and filing, including coordination with external tax advisors
• Prepare financial materials for Board and Committee meetings, standardizing reporting formats

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial reporting, external audit coordination, or tax compliance
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification
• Knowledge of US GAAP and nonprofit tax compliance requirements
• Experience with accounting software and inter-fund accounting for subsidiary entities
