CPA Financial Reporting Lead

Job Summary

Owning the external reporting function, the full-time Financial Reporting & Technical Accounting Lead will manage SEC filings, serve as a U.S. GAAP expert, and oversee equity and lease accounting while collaborating closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams in a remote capacity.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation and filing of all SEC reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with U.S. GAAP
• Drive improvements in financial reporting processes, controls, and automation to enhance efficiency and scalability
• Lead audit management and serve as the primary contact for external auditors during the annual audit and quarterly reviews

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and CPA certification required
• 9+ years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience, with a strong public accounting foundation
• Extensive experience with SEC reporting, including direct ownership of filings
• Strong technical expertise in ASC 718 (stock-based compensation) and ASC 842 (leases)
• Proven experience leading teams and managing complex reporting environments
