CPA Financial Reporting Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal, Financial Reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation, review, and filing of SEC documents, ensuring compliance with US GAAP
• Monitor and draft routine technical accounting memos in response to new regulations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and quality control of financial data

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in financial reporting, external reporting, or public accounting
• Active CPA license preferred; background in Big 4 public accounting desired
• Experience with financial reporting software and XBRL tagging
• Strong understanding of SOX 404 and internal controls
• Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects and mentor junior team members
