CPA Financial Systems Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Financial Systems Director to manage the architecture and integrity of its financial data infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the design, maintenance, and improvement of financial data infrastructure, including reconciliation and reporting systems
• Execute automated reconciliations and support the monthly and annual close process
• Develop and maintain comprehensive process documentation for reconciliation and reporting workflows

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in accounting operations or financial systems roles
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, particularly revenue recognition and loan accounting
• Experience at a Big 4 or large regional accounting firm
• CPA required; Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Advanced SQL proficiency and experience with reconciliation infrastructure or close automation
