CPA Fund Accounting Associate

Job Summary

To support the accounting, valuation, and reporting functions for over 27,000 funds, the remote Fund Accounting Senior Associate (Crypto) will evaluate portfolio company events, prepare financial statements, and ensure compliance with GAAP while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate portfolio company events and determine appropriate valuation actions for investments
• Prepare audited and unaudited financial statements and coordinate with audit firms for annual audits
• Maintain the investment tracking system, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date information

Required qualifications

• 3 - 4+ years of experience in Fund Administration and Public Accounting, with a CPA license strongly preferred
• Experience performing fund accounting for crypto-focused funds
• Familiarity with reconciling digital asset positions across various platforms
• Mastery of core financial concepts related to venture finance
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
