CPA General Accounting Manager
Job Summary
To support a growing finance team, the full-time Manager of General Accounting will oversee general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and compliance, while leading a team and collaborating cross-functionally in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entry preparation and financial statement analysis
- Prepare financial statements and audit schedules for senior management decision-making
- Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals to drive performance and professional growth
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
- 8-10 years of progressive experience in accounting leadership roles, with prior public accounting experience preferred
- Advanced knowledge of US GAAP and proficiency with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite
- Proven leadership skills with experience in team management and development
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to drive process improvements
