CPA Global Controller
Job Summary
Accountable for day-to-day accounting operations across global entities, the full-time Global Controller will manage financial reporting, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and oversee internal controls while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the global accounting department, including policy creation and enforcement, and oversee month-end close processes
- Ensure compliance with ASC 606 and other relevant accounting standards, leading technical accounting initiatives and contract analysis
- Issue timely financial statements and coordinate annual financial reporting, partnering with FP&A for budget preparation
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
- 12-15+ years of accounting experience, particularly in multi-national companies with revenues over $100M
- Strong technical accounting knowledge, especially regarding ASC 606, ASC 805, and ASC 842
- CPA certification required
- Experience with ERP systems and multi-currency consolidations
