CPA Head of Accounting

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Head of Accounting to lead and build its accounting function.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and manage the monthly close process and ensure accurate financial reporting
• Establish accounting policies and create a scalable accounting function
• Lead audit readiness efforts and manage external partners as needed

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably with a Big 4 background
• Proven experience in managing the close process end-to-end
• Hands-on experience with journal entries and reconciliations
• CPA certification is required
• Experience in a high-growth startup environment and ERP implementation
