Job Summary

Serving as a key advisor, the remote Insurance Technical Statutory Accounting Controller will lead statutory accounting efforts, ensuring compliance with NAIC guidance, preparing financial statements, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as subject matter expert on insurance statutory accounting principles and their application
• Lead the preparation and review of statutory financial statements and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Monitor emerging regulatory developments and communicate complex accounting issues to senior leadership and stakeholders

Required qualifications

• Certified Public Accountant designation
• Minimum 8 years of direct insurance statutory accounting experience
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
