CPA Lead Accountant

Job Summary

Serving as a technical accounting expert, the remote CPA Lead Accountant will consult on complex accounting issues, maintain and interpret accounting policies, and ensure compliance with accounting standards for the Investments, Derivatives, and Treasury teams.

Key responsibilities

• Consult on complex technical accounting matters and ensure proper application of accounting standards
• Maintain accounting policies for assigned areas and provide subject matter expertise on compliance issues
• Prepare and review disclosures for financial statements, ensuring accuracy and completeness

Required qualifications

• 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's)
• 5-7+ years of relevant accounting experience, ideally including Big 4 public accounting
• Active CPA license
• Experience in investment accounting is highly preferred
• Familiarity with treasury and/or derivatives accounting is preferred
