CPA Licensed Accounting Consultant

Job Summary

Consulting on complex technical accounting matters, the remote Sr. Consultant, Accounting Policy will serve as a technical accounting expert, ensuring proper application of accounting standards, maintaining accounting policies, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to address compliance and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Consult on complex technical accounting issues and ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Maintain and interpret accounting policies for assigned areas of responsibility
• Communicate new and emerging technical accounting policy developments to management and stakeholders

Required qualifications

• Active CPA license
• 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• 5-7+ years of relevant accounting experience, ideally including Big 4 public accounting
• Experience in investment accounting is highly preferred
• Familiarity with treasury and/or derivatives accounting is preferred
