CPA Licensed Accounting Manager

Job Summary

Overseeing outsourced accounting engagements for a portfolio of clients, the full-time remote CPA Licensed Accounting Manager will lead the delivery of financial reporting, manage the month-end close process, and ensure compliance with GAAP while providing leadership to engagement teams and serving as a trusted advisor to clients.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Controller/Accounting Manager for assigned clients, managing all aspects of the accounting function
• Lead and manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting
• Review work performed by staff, analyze financial results, and provide actionable insights to clients and stakeholders

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field, or equivalent experience
• CPA certification preferred
• Five or more years of experience in public accounting, consulting, or outsourced accounting services
• Two or more years of experience in a supervisory or team leadership capacity
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
