CPA Licensed Accounting Manager

Job Summary

Providing technical leadership in complex accounting areas, the full-time remote CPA Licensed Accounting Manager will oversee capital and fixed assets, lease accounting, and intercompany transactions while ensuring compliance with GAAP and driving process improvements through analytics and automation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical accounting leadership and oversight for complex areas, guiding staff on transactions and technical standards
• Review journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations for adherence to GAAP, ensuring timely and accurate month-end close activities
• Develop and implement accounting procedures and internal controls while identifying opportunities for process improvements and automation

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited college or university
• At least six years of progressively responsible accounting experience, including management or supervisory experience
• Deep knowledge of GAAP applicable to complex technical areas such as fixed assets and lease accounting
• Proficiency in analytics and business intelligence tools, with experience in building reports and dashboards
• CPA - Certified Public Accountant certification
