CPA Licensed Accounting Specialist

Job Summary

To support schools in maintaining accurate financial records, the full-time remote CPA Licensed Accounting Specialist will manage accounting workflows using Clarity software, translating requirements, validating configurations, and advising clients on accounting treatments.

Key responsibilities

• Translating schools' accounting requirements into correct Clarity configurations and partnering with implementation on complex setups
• Reviewing and validating school account configurations, identifying errors, and advising on correct accounting treatments
• Supporting monthly account reconciliations and assisting clients with audit preparation while serving as the accounting subject-matter expert

Required qualifications

• A current CPA license in good standing
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting, bookkeeping, or outsourced accounting services
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Experience with financial systems such as QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, or NetSuite
• Ability to analyze financial data and identify discrepancies effectively
