CPA Licensed Assistant Controller

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Assistant Controller to oversee accounting operations and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Manage accounting staff and support automation and system integration

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA or CMA required
• 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
• Experience within healthcare, SaaS, or tech environments is a plus
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
