CPA Licensed Assistant Controller

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Assistant Controller, Outsourced Accounting for Nonprofit Industry Clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day financial reporting accuracy for assigned clients
• Prepare and finalize month-end close and review balance sheets for accuracy
• Coordinate project tasks to ensure efficient client workflow and assist in developing best practices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required
• CPA certification preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience focused on financial reporting and general ledger management
• Experience with nonprofit federal grant processing and reporting required
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and month-end close processes
