CPA Licensed Assistant Controller

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Assistant Corporate Controller, Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a system of internal controls to safeguard enterprise assets
• Generate GAAP basis financial statements and oversee the daily operation of the AP and AR team
• Mentor and develop staff while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements

Required Qualifications

• 15 years of experience leading Financial Accounting teams
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• CPA or CMA certification required
• Two years of healthcare experience required
• Knowledge of US GAAP and tax code related to partnerships and corporations preferred
