CPA Licensed Assistant Controller

Job Summary

Supporting core accounting operations, the full-time salaried CPA Licensed Assistant Controller will manage general ledger activities, assist with financial close processes, and strengthen internal controls while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Support general ledger activity, reconciliations, and core accounting operations
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
• Lead and develop the accounting team, providing direction and support to ensure strong performance and growth

Required qualifications:

• CPA license or relevant experience in similar roles
• Strong foundation in GAAP and technical accounting
• Experience in financial reporting and analysis
• Ability to navigate complex accounting issues and apply appropriate GAAP guidance
• Experience in regulated or compliance-heavy industries preferred
