CPA Licensed Assistant Controller

Job Summary

Serving as a key financial leader, the full-time remote CPA Licensed Assistant Controller will manage the accounting team's daily operations, ensuring compliance with GAAP standards while overseeing financial reporting and internal controls to support corporate scaling.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the financial close processes for timely and accurate reporting
• Oversee the integration of new acquisitions and new-build locations, aligning accounting policies and establishing opening balance sheets
• Review consolidated financial statements and maintain internal control frameworks across all accounting functions

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred or equivalent relevant experience
• Ten years of progressive GAAP accounting experience, including three years in a supervisory or senior manager-level role
• Extensive experience with multi-unit business structures and M&A financial integration
• Proficiency in NetSuite and advanced skills in MS Excel
