CPA Licensed Assistant Controller

Job Summary

Supporting the AVP Controller in a hybrid role, the full-time salaried CPA Licensed Assistant Controller will oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls while driving process improvements and ensuring GAAP compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the monthly close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Research and apply accounting guidance for compliance with U.S. GAAP, including revenue recognition and leases
• Supervise billing operations and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve disputes and ensure accurate financial treatment of contracts

Required qualifications

• Active CPA license required
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's degree preferred)
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting and/or private industry
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, or similar)
