CPA Licensed Assistant Controller

Job Summary

Leading accounting operations, the full-time remote CPA Licensed Assistant Controller will manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, support the annual audit, and collaborate with senior leadership on financial strategy and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
• Evaluate emerging accounting standards and advise leadership on implementation strategies
• Build relationships with external auditors to support efficient audits and strong controls

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• Active or inactive CPA license
• Previous experience as an Accounting Manager, Assistant Controller, or Controller
• Experience with annual financial statement audits
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and hands-on expertise across end-to-end accounting operations
