CPA Licensed AVP of Accounting

Job Summary

To support a growing accounting team, the full-time CPA Licensed AVP of Accounting will lead the preparation and review of financial statements, ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, and serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and review of quarterly and annual financial statements and related disclosures
• Oversee external financial reporting packages and ensure accuracy and compliance with U.S. GAAP
• Coordinate with external auditors and provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; Master's preferred
• CPA certification required
• 10-15+ years of accounting experience, preferably with Big 4 public accounting
• Experience in a large, complex organization and public company/SEC reporting
• Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements
