CPA Licensed Controller

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Controller to lead and strengthen its accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll entries, and bank reconciliations
• Produce internal financial statements and management reports while ensuring compliance with GAAP
• Lead enhancements to accounting systems and financial workflows to improve operational efficiency

Required Qualifications

• 8 to 12 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within a communications agency environment
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and revenue recognition principles
• Experience leading monthly close, audit processes, and budgeting cycles
• Demonstrated ability to implement and improve financial controls and systems
• CPA preferred; NetSuite experience a plus
