CPA Licensed Controller

Job Summary

To support a growing telemedicine company, the remote CPA Licensed Controller will oversee all accounting functions, ensure financial reporting accuracy, and maintain internal controls while collaborating with the leadership team on budgeting and financial analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Direct all general accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, and payroll, while managing the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process
• Oversee inventory valuation and analyze cost of goods sold (COGS) to report on profitability by product line and channel
• Develop and document accounting policies, manage compliance reporting, and coordinate external financial audits

Required qualifications

• Active CPA (Certified Public Accountant) license
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2+ years in a Controller or Senior Accounting Manager role
• Proven technical expertise in U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Demonstrable experience with inventory, manufacturing, or cost accounting in a product-based environment
