CPA Licensed Controller

Job Summary

To help scale and strengthen accounting operations in a fully remote environment, the full-time Controller will lead core accounting functions, ensure GAAP compliance, and manage a team of six while reporting directly to the CFO.

Key responsibilities

• Lead core accounting operations, including general ledger, reconciliations, and financial close
• Strengthen internal controls and ensure compliance with GAAP, audit, tax, and international regulations
• Drive process improvements and support M&A integration and multi-entity consolidation

Required qualifications

• Proven experience as a Controller in a private equity-backed environment
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and technical accounting principles
• Experience in multi-entity or high-growth environments
• Familiarity with NetSuite is preferred
• CPA certification is strongly preferred
