CPA Licensed Controller

Job Summary

To support the organization's financial integrity, the full-time remote CPA Licensed Controller will oversee the accounting department, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and the development of accounting policies while providing strategic insights to executive leadership.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the accounting department, including financial reporting, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll functions
• Develop and implement accounting policies and internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards
• Prepare and review financial statements and reports, providing analysis and insights for budgeting and strategic planning

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA license required
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive accounting experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems, including working knowledge of NetSuite
