CPA Licensed Controller

Job Summary

Managing the accounting department, the full-time remote CPA Licensed Controller will oversee financial reporting, maintain audit-ready systems, and ensure compliance with tax regulations while supporting organizational growth and efficiency.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee all activities of the accounting department, including AR/Collections and Accounts Payable functions
• Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure timely dissemination of financial reports
• Oversee the annual external audit process and ensure compliance with tax regulations

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; Master's in Accounting preferred
• CPA certification required
• 10+ years of related accounting experience, with 5+ years in a supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and experience with ERP systems; NetSuite experience is a plus
• Experience utilizing AI and automation tools for efficiency and reporting
