CPA Licensed Controller

Job Summary

As the owner of the financial books and records, the remote CPA Licensed Controller will manage the preparation of financial statements, oversee finance functions including General Ledger and Payroll, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while developing financial policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Direct the preparation of financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and IFRS for subsidiaries
• Manage all finance functions including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, and Treasury
• Ensure internal controls are in place and operating effectively for financial stewardship

Required qualifications

• CPA license highly preferred
• 10+ years of accounting experience
• Technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP accounting/reporting, including ASC 606 Revenue Recognition
• Exposure to International Reporting Standards (IFRS) and international business operations
• Experience with Netsuite or ability to quickly learn and utilize the platform
