CPA Licensed Controller

Job Summary

Owning the accounting operations function, the full-time CPA Licensed Controller will lead all accounting initiatives, manage the monthly and annual close processes, and work cross-functionally to implement scalable process improvements in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive process improvements and contribute to accounting transformation by leveraging AI to enhance efficiency
• Oversee the monthly and year-end close processes, ensuring compliance with GAAP and timely financial reporting
• Lead the annual financial audit and coordinate tax return preparation with independent CPA firms

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a minimum of 2 years in public accounting preferred
• Experience managing a small team of accounting professionals
• Proficiency in using NetSuite and strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Bachelor's degree in accounting is required
• CPA certification is mandatory
