CPA Licensed Controller

Job Summary

Leading the Accounting team in a remote setting, the full-time salaried CPA Licensed Controller will oversee financial reporting, manage the monthly close process, and drive organizational improvements while mentoring team members and ensuring compliance with GAAP.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop the Accounting team to foster a culture of accuracy and continuous improvement
• Oversee all accounting operations and financial reporting, ensuring timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings
• Manage the annual financial statement audit and maintain relationships with external auditors and tax advisors

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA required (MBA or CMA is a plus)
• 8+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role
• Strong background in GAAP, audits, and financial reporting
• Proficiency in accounting systems and ERP platforms (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks)
• Excellent analytical skills with strong Excel and financial modeling capabilities
