CPA Licensed Controller

Job Summary

Leading the accounting function for a growing organization, the full-time CPA Licensed Controller will oversee financial reporting, audits, and team development while enhancing processes and systems in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full accounting function, including monthly close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Quickly assess current processes and identify opportunities for improvement in accuracy and efficiency
• Establish a reliable close process and manage relationships with external auditors and advisors

Required qualifications

• Significant progressive accounting experience, ideally as a Controller or Head of Accounting
• Experience in consumer products or inventory-based businesses
• Strong knowledge of inventory accounting, financial reporting, and U.S. GAAP
• Experience with NetSuite and managing external audits
• Located in the Eastern or Central time zone or able to maintain substantial working-hour overlap with U.S. and U.K. teams
