CPA Licensed Controller

Job Summary

To support strategic financial operations, the full-time CPA Licensed Controller will lead all accounting functions, ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, and manage financial reporting while working onsite in Chicago, IL.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the accounting organization, establishing performance standards and managing audit relationships
• Prepare and ensure the accuracy of financial statements while maintaining audit readiness and compliance with regulatory requirements
• Oversee general ledger activities, ensuring proper reconciliation and maintenance of accounts

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• CPA designation required or strongly preferred
• 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance leadership experience
• 5+ years of experience managing accounting teams, including 2-3 years in a Controller role
• Extensive knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements
