CPA Licensed Controller
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced CPA Licensed Controller to lead a remote accounting organization in a full-time salaried role, responsible for financial reporting, internal controls, and the development of a high-performing team while leveraging technology and AI for continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with U.S. GAAP
- Oversee revenue accounting and ensure adherence to ASC 606 for a SaaS subscription business
- Maintain a strong internal control environment and coordinate annual financial statement audits
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Active CPA license
- 12+ years of progressive accounting experience, including roles as Controller or Assistant Controller in a software or SaaS company
- Experience with organizations generating $100 million+ in annual revenue
- Advanced experience with NetSuite ERP and strong expertise in U.S. GAAP financial reporting
