CPA Licensed Corporate Controller

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Corporate Controller (Canada).

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS and manage public company reporting
• Lead technical accounting matters, implement new accounting standards, and support M&A transactions
• Develop and mentor a high-performing accounting team while driving process improvements and technology adoption

Required Qualifications

• CPA designation (CA, CMA, or CGA) with 8-12+ years of accounting experience
• 3-5 years of public company experience with IFRS reporting and SEDAR+ filing
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Canadian public company reporting requirements
• Experience managing and developing accounting teams in a growth-oriented environment
• Proficiency in ERP systems such as NetSuite or SAP
