CPA Licensed Financial Controller

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Financial Controller for a 100% remote position.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the monthly and quarterly financial close process, including journal entry reviews and account reconciliations
• Support and review deliverables from offshore teams while providing impactful analytics
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and manage client relationships, including handling escalations and governance meetings

Required Qualifications

• Active CPA certification is required
• Experience working with insurance companies (P&C/Life/Auto) is essential
• Hands-on experience with financial planning and analysis
• Strong knowledge of investment accounting, including capital contributions and asset accounting
• Proven team management skills, including coaching and performance assessments
