Job Summary

A company is looking for an Assistant Vice President, Financial Controls.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the annual ICFR Program risk assessment and scoping process, monitoring changes and reporting control deficiencies
  • Partner with the business to remediate significant deficiencies and support external auditors in public company readiness assessments
  • Develop ICFR Program communications for stakeholders and assist in implementing internal controls testing functions


Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting
  • CPA, Chartered Accountant or equivalent
  • Six (6) or more years of experience in the Life & Annuities industry, focusing on public companies
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and US Statutory Accounting Principles
  • Ability to design and present information effectively to senior management and auditors
