CPA Licensed Financial Reporting Director

Job Summary

Overseeing the financial reporting function, the full-time remote Associate Director of Financial Reporting will manage the preparation, review, and analysis of consolidated financial statements while ensuring audit readiness and compliance with internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Oversees the preparation and review of monthly consolidated financial statements and variance analysis
• Coordinates annual audits and manages communication with external auditors to ensure compliance and completeness of audit workpapers
• Provides direct supervision to Financial Reporting staff, assigning work and supporting staff development

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in preparing consolidated financial statements for a higher education institution
• Knowledge of GAAP and experience with Hyperion, Banner ERP, or Oracle OAS
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of SQL and Oracle databases
• Current CPA is preferred
