CPA Licensed Financial Reporting Manager

Job Summary

Reporting to the VP of Financial Reporting, the remote AVP, Financial Reporting will manage the preparation of US GAAP financial reporting requirements across all business entities, oversee group consolidations, and support external and internal reporting processes.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and prepare group consolidations for quarter- and year-end close
• Support the US GAAP reporting process, including preparation of financial statements and presentations for various stakeholders
• Act as a liaison with internal and external auditors related to financial reporting

Required qualifications

• University degree in accounting or finance
• CPA designation with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in insurance financial reporting
• Working knowledge of US GAAP and, if applicable, US Statutory and Bermuda Statutory reporting standards
• Proven ability to work independently and manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving skills
