CPA Licensed GL Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a GL Accountant (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly accounting journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and maintain processes for assigned areas
• Account for prepaids, operating expense accruals, and capitalized software development
• Assist in the preparation of external reporting documents and ensure compliance with SOX requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience
• Interest in obtaining a CPA license
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with Google Suite
• Experience with accounting software, such as Oracle, is preferred
