CPA Licensed GL Accounting Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a GL Accounting Manager to manage financial reporting and lead a team of accountants.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the General Ledger, ensuring accurate financial transactions and compliance with accounting standards
• Prepare and review financial reports, collaborating with other departments and supporting external audits
• Lead and mentor a team of accountants, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred
• Minimum of 7 years of accounting experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role
• Strong experience with GL accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls
• Knowledge of ERP systems and proficiency in tools such as NetSuite, Great Plains, Workday, and Concur
• Deep understanding of GAAP and relevant accounting standards
