CPA Licensed Head of Finance

Job Summary

Owning the entire finance function, the full-time CPA Licensed Head of Finance will manage the monthly close, GAAP compliance, revenue recognition, and tax responsibilities while leveraging AI and collaborating with a fractional CFO in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Run end-to-end monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP
• Oversee revenue recognition under ASC 606 and maintain defensible definitions of SaaS metrics
• Manage all tax-related responsibilities and ensure continuous audit readiness

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, particularly in a SaaS or technology company
• CPA license or equivalent depth in GAAP, with expertise in ASC 606
• Experience in FP&A, board reporting, and supporting audits or fundraises
• Proficiency with financial tools such as QuickBooks, Stripe, and Chargebee
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment
